Need Info - When used Shields?

Hey ShadowKnights!

Its been a while since I've had a chance to sling some paint with any of you. Crazy to think the last game I was at with any SK was Red Mars with Fuzz and that was over a year ago!

Anyway I just wanted to see if I could get some info. As many of you know I sometimes write articles for APG. I don't like to just write the same old stuff they always have so I look for something new and interesting to write about, even to veteran players. Like the "helicopter tactics" one I wrote a while ago. I wanted to write a similar one, and I was thinking of doing an article on shield bearer tactics.

And one of the most effective shooter-shield pairs I've ever been a part of was with you guys. If I remember right (which is doubtful) it was with Cupcake in Clan Wars 2007. After all I think that was the only one of Knightowl's games where we were on the same side. But I thought shields were only allowed in the Heroes and Villains games, am I wrong?

Anyway if anyone remembers can you let me know? I want to get my facts straight

nice to hear from you wedge. shields were first allowed up her at heroes vs villains in 07. As far as some very good shield tatics so if you can find any video from Return of the riders earlier this year. I went down there again and we had renegades, muppets, and a few others behind a 6 man shield wall moving all the way across the field. I got to the point that the enemy general told us we should show his guys how to use shields.
